Major in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics
A major in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics consists of a range of compulsory and elective subjects, as outlined in the Linguistics and Applied Linguistics Handbook entry, and in our major document ‘new generation’ major in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics (90kb pdf). If you have an interest in continuing on to honours and/or further study in Linguistics we recommend you include, if possible, in your course plan (at least) one of:

Minor in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics and English Language studies
It is also possible to take a minor in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics or a minor in English Language Studies.
